It turns out our Devonshire Teas are so good as I think they are!
We were recently featured in Daily Telegraph article about Kangaroo Valley (March 2013):
“Devonshire tea is a small town ritual and Paula Woodney’s mother-in-law makes the best scones this side of the UK.
Matched with Woodney’s house jam, mixed berry and sour cherry (“it was a house mistake but now it’s so popular I make it all the time”) it’s a great way to top off the afternoon.
If scones don’t do it for you, there are more than 20 flavours of fudge which Woodney makes from the original owners’ recipe, as well as Norgen Vass ice cream and a selection ot lollies that would make Willy Wonka jealous.
Paula and her husband Mick also stock a selection of jams, curries and sauces all made locally. Ben’s Honey, is made by a 17-year-old local resident and is so good that people travel for it.”
